OUR STORY SO FAR
Ipswich City Uniting Church is a faithful and active congregation offering the hospitality of Christ to the community. Our congregation stands within a tradition of faith spanning over 170 years of continuous worship, witness and service to the community.
With the gift of such a strong heritage, we continue to explore what it means to be God’s church, the body of Christ, in Ipswich today and into the future. As such, we have committed ourselves to Finding New Life Together in Christ.
We Welcome - As a family of Christ-followers, we seek to be a welcoming, inclusive and inter-generational community, providing a safe place in which all people are supported along their Christian faith journey.
We Nurture - As a responsive and engaged Christian community, we seek to provide a nurturing environment in which all people are given the opportunity to engage in a range of expressions of ministry, so that the church will continue to encourage, foster and grow the people of God.
We Innovate - As grateful stewards, we seek to value the physical resources entrusted to us, so that they can be actively used for the extension of the Kingdom of God through innovative, authentic and life-giving applications.
